The McAvoy Group, proud main sponsors of Moy GAA Senior and Reserve teams, would like to congratulate the Senior panel of players and management in becoming the AIB All-Ireland Club Intermediate Champions, on Saturday 3rd February.
Despite a late rally from Roscommon champions Michael Glaveys, Moy always looked comfortable and controlled the game for large parts. In the end, Moy’s 14-man opponents could not cut the deficit, and Moy recorded a comfortable 1-10 to 0-07 victory.
The win rounds off a momentous year for the club, following their county and provincial club championship victories a few months previous.
