McAvoy receives perfect score for CCS audit at Ash Manor site

We’re pleased to announce that we received a perfect score of 45/45 on the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) audit at our Ash Manor site in Surrey. The site team were commended for the following:

  • Exemplary efforts in engaging with local community organisations and our close engagement with the school.
  • Environmental considerations being key to the ethos of this project and the reduction of carbon.
  • Information and checks management for the workforce as well as the condition of temporary facilities

We are proud to be recognised for our close collaboration with groups such as the Scouts organisation, the local community food bank, and Men’s Shed, who we provided with spare timber from our project for reuse, demonstrating our dedication to sustainable practices.

Preserving the local landscape and environment is also a top priority for McAvoy. The audit highlighted our meticulous waste management practices, which reduce our impact on the environment. We take every precaution to protect local wildlife during the construction process, ensuring minimal disruption to their natural habitats.

In addition to these practices, our project team’s active participation in the Woodland Trust’s “Buy a Tree” scheme showcases our ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability. By purchasing and planting trees, we contribute to reforestation efforts and offset’s the carbon footprint of our project.

Our dedicated project team are the driving force behind this accomplishment. Their hard work, passion and unwavering commitment to our values is what helped us achieve this perfect score.
