The McAvoy Group has signed a contract to deliver a new London-based school build worth more than £18m.
The prestigious project – at Gorsebrook School, Dagenham – has been awarded as part of the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Framework funded by the Education Funding Agency (EFA).
One of the largest schemes of its kind in the UK it will incorporate the provision of school accommodation including dining facilities, dance halls, studios and internal recreation facilities for 1355 pupils aged from 3-18. McAvoy has been appointed as the principal contractor with complete responsibility for delivery of the 10,381m2 school from start to finish.
