The McAvoy Group has begun the installation of bespoke modules at Ramsgate Free School in Kent.
Modules of the building, at 15.8 metres in length, are some of the longest manufactured and transported by McAvoy in the company’s history.
Demolition of existing buildings on site was completed throughout March as well as remediation of the land, in preparation for the construction of the new 2,072m2 primary school. When complete, the two form entry school will have the capacity for 420 pupils.
The open and spacious two-storey building will include state of the art technology, its own recording studio, dance facilities, art room and dedicated music centre.
Currently located at Chilton Primary School in Ramsgate, the school will move into their new building on Newington Road from 18th August 2017, in time for the start of the new school year in September.
