Kelmscott School

Kelmscott School had a requirement much needed additional teaching space at their existing school. McAvoy carried out an extension on their existing site which included adding a separate SEN building to the school.

To meet the imminent demand for school places, a temporary school was opened on Spring Street while a permanent school was being constructed on Silverthorne Lane.

Cardiff City Council had a requirement for a dedicated SEN space within Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Plasmawr, which is a Welsh-medium comprehensive secondary school in Cardiff. McAvoy was awarded the project following a competitive tendering process via the SEWSCAP framework.
