Landmark building
This project represents the single largest modular building project ever completed in Ireland with over 260 steel framed modular sections totalling 9,278m².
The three-storey building comprised fully furnished and functional offices for 1,400 people, welfare, toilets and canteen. In addition to the office space the building included locker room and toilet facilities to cater for 7,500 construction staff. The canteen has the cooking capacity to cater for 3,000 people and seating for 750 people.
The Offsite Solution
This modular building has been manufactured in compliance with all current building regulations. The building included internal staircase and lift shafts and external fire escapes. The mechanical and electrical fit out included HVAC Air Handling System, integrated data installation for 1,400 operatives, power and services.
McAvoy’s exemplary track record of delivering on time and within budget was very evident on this project. The building was delivered to site within 12 weeks of order and was completed within 24 weeks of order.
