PODs can be craned into position directly by lifting off the back of the delivery lorry. The PODs are lifted using McAvoy approved lifting eyes provided with each POD. Alternatively, they can rolled from a loading bay into position using either McAvoy approved jockey wheels or skids.
Having already inspected the Prototype the M&E contractor then connects to pre agreed electricity junction boxes and plumbing manifolds located in a suitable position on the POD.
The PODs are delivered to site with a heavy duty polythene cover to protect them during transport and while left exposed to the elements on site. A temporary door is also fitted for security while on site.
