McAvoy off-site building solutions

McAvoy Off-site Building Solutions has won an award for the Best Off-Site Construction Product at a leading international construction industry exhibition.

The group, which is headquartered in Dungannon and also has a manufacturing plant at Lisburn, gained the award for its innovative bathroom and bedroom pods displayed at the recent Plan Expo exhibition inDublin. The group took part in the show for the first time on an Invest Northern Ireland exhibition stand.
 
McAvoy pods are designed for developers of hotels, apartments and other accommodation and offer quality, high specification bathrooms and bedrooms which are manufactured off-site in Dungannon. The pods come complete with interior furnishings such as tiling and sanitary ware. The pods are designed and manufactured to the specifications of a client and are produced by skilled craftsmen. They are transported shrink-wrapped and can be lifted into position on-site.

McAvoy Off-site Solutions was among almost 250 exhibitors at the event in the RDS, Dublin.
 
McAvoy Off-site employs around 300 people in Ireland. In addition to the manufacturing plants in Northern Ireland, the group has depots in Dublin, Cork, Mayo and Oxford. It specialises in modular accommodation manufactured off-site in its factories and also rents accommodation units, including antivandal units, for a wide range of applications.
 
Plan Expo is the most important exhibition in the Irish construction industry calendar.
