The need was to create a Grade A space for passengers to relax on arrival and prior to departure from the airport. Facilities include comfortable lounge surroundings, secure immigration office, ground and air crew rest areas, administration offices, and amenity facilities.
Project Summary
Installation of 8 steel frame modules assembled to create a 288m2 high quality modular building in just 8 weeks from start to finish. As an Executive Jet Centre receiving private visitors, a special focus was placed on high quality fixtures, fittings and finishes, helping to ensure a top class lounge was created that would not look out of place at any airport in the world.
Project Challenges
As with any live airport, completing construction projects has many challenges. Our experienced project team has longstanding experience working airside so challenges such a permit for crane operation and security clearance were easily overcome.
