McAvoy timber frame buildings are mainly designed for use on projects of up to two storeys as an alternative to a structural steel frame.
Typical unit dimensions are as follows:
- Length – No restrictions
- Width – No restrictions
- Height – Internal Floor to Ceiling, no restrictions.
Timber frame buildings provide an alternative to steel frame structures when individual compartment dimensions are smaller and the life expectancy requirement of the building is lower.
The units can be positioned end-to-end or side-by-side tomaximise the footprint required. They can also be stacked to a maximum of 2 storeys high.
Our designs permit various Fire Ratings to be achieved. The Fire Rating of each building is subject to the site requirements, the applicable Building Regulations and any specific requirements of the customer.
