McAvoy seals £36m of school deals

McAvoy Group has signed a contract to deliver a new English-based school worth £18m and has secured preferred bidder status on a second major project worth a further £18m. Both of the prestigious projects will be funded by the Education Funding Agency (EFA).

McAvoy this week confirmed it had signed the contract to build Goresbrook School, London Borough of Barking and Dagenham which was awarded through the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Framework and that it had secured preferred bidder status for a similar project at Lynch Hill Enterprise Academy Trust, Slough, awarded through the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Framework for Modular Building Systems.
