The McAvoy Group is now fully registered as a supplier on Achilles Link-up, a UK-wide accredited site which will broaden the company’s market exposure.
Achilles Link-up is the rail industry’s pre-qualification scheme. It is recognised as best practise in qualifying suppliers, and is used extensively by buyer organisations to manage risk and comply with legislation. It is governed by a RISQS (Rail Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme) Board compromising of cross-industry representation, and the RISQS Board members contribute to the development of the service.
The certification applies to McAvoy’s relocatable equipment buildings and all other modular buildings and it provides a valuable platform from which the company can compete for tenders and contracts nationwide.
