Frank Gervin Clonoe ABC re-opens its doors

Frank Gervin Clonoe ABC has now re-opened its doors in the new premises which were donated to the club by McAvoy as part of a companywide community initiative. The club which has been renamed after its founder, the late Frank Gervin was established in 1972 and has had a strong presence in the local community ever since. McAvoy offered their support to the club in 2015 after they had to leave the premises they were in and donated a 4no. section modular building and stores.

60+ boxers now have a facility to train in again since McAvoy offered to help the club and donate the modular building in late 2015. Some further work is still ongoing at the site with an official opening planned for later in the year.

Thanks to all the McAvoy employees who gave up their free time to work on the project.
