We are currently recruiting for a Desktop Support Technician for our head office in Dungannon. This full time, permanent position is an exciting opportunity to join our IT Department, ensuring the successful operation of internal networks, applications and support systems.

Main Duties

  • Employ the helpdesk support system to manage and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Manage IT security on both network and applications
  • Manage document control for IT operations within the business
  • Configure and support laptops/desktops/printers for the end users
  • Provide support for mobile devices (smart phones, tablets and routers)
  • Maintain and support the existing server and network infrastructure

Essential Criteria

  • Experience in supporting IT systems and users
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organisation
  • A self-starter with the ability to analyse problems from 1st principles to formulate a solution

Desirable Criteria

  • Knowledge of SQL server, Microsoft active directory and Sharepoint is a distinct advantage
  • A full driving licence is preferable
